Computer Lab
Need computer access to update a resume or job profile, complete an application, check your email, or do job searches? Wanting to improve your skills of using a computer or navigating the Web? Needing Internet access in order to complete homework assignments or research papers?
Stop by to use one of our 9 computers any day of the work week! Our computer lab has been open to the public since Monday, July 27, 2015, meaning that we are a WinstonNet Community Technology Center (CTC). WinstonNet is a non-profit organization promoting computer and Internet access for all people, free of charge. Labs provide computers, high speed Internet access, wireless connections, training, and Microsoft software for public use. The Habitat location is open for public use Monday – Friday, between the hours of 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and other hours if available.
For more information about the Habitat CTC location, call 336.765.8854. To learn more about WinstonNet Computer Labs, free training, or to identify other locations around the city, click HERE.
Habitat Forsyth desires to be an available site for academic and career purposes, and for this reason:
- No food or drinks will be allowed in the computer lab.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Note: Enter into the Housing Education Center through the double doors on the lower level. This is the main entrance and the location of our training classrooms and computer lab.
