Energy Efficiency/Weatherization

A class in our expanded Basic Home Maintenance Curriculum. This entire curriculum is designed to provide hands-on application for every learner. Program incentives (household tools) are awarded with each class.

Description: Identify basic home maintenance issues related to weatherization and learn steps to repair and/or resolve the issue.

Audience:  Priority given to Habitat homeowners or homeowners in the Boston Thurmond, Bowen Boulevard and Dreamland Park neighborhoods, but this program is open to any interested person in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area. Women are encouraged to attend.

Registration:  Required. Limited to 10 people for each class. Register online or call 765-8854 ext. 135.

Note: The $15 fee (to cover class materials) can be paid in advance or on the day of class using cash, check, credit card or money order.
