COMMUNITY EVENT: Assistance with the Application for Property Tax Relief

In North Carolina, Seniors and people with disabilities can get property tax relief. An individual who is totally and permanently disabled or age 65 and over and makes below the income limit of $36,700.00 for 2024 could be exempt from property taxes up to half of the home’s assessed value or $25,000 whichever is greater.
